Hiking through the forest

One of the great blessings that I received from God this week is the opportunity to hike in the woods.

If you are from the Philippines, just hearing the word "woods" will give you chills!

Well, because it means that you are delivering yourself to death. Woods are scary there! You will be lost if you have no idea what you are doing.

But here in Czech Republic, it is different. There are no wild animals roaming around and, somehow, you will see people living in the woods. So you will still feel safe.

But anyways, this week was a great week for me. I had a regular 9-5 shift and the weather was so nice so I really took advantage of it. I walked from work to my home for around an hour. And what was great about it is that I saw 2 different paths.

Here are some of the photos:

While walking I realized how great God is. Just seeing the beautiful scenery around me made me feel how alive He is. A lot of people fail to realize it but through His creations you really feel that there is a God taking care of you. And I do feel it.

I am very thankful that I am alive.. I can walk, I can see and I can move. And all of these is because of God. He allowed me to have all of these things this week. He gave me my borrowed time. And because of that I am able to experience a wonderful hike through the woods of Brno.

So while I was thinking, I suddenly remembered Matthew 6:25-34

And I said to myself, Matthew is right. God has taken care of Brno so there is nothing for me to be worried about. I am His daughter. So whatever happens, He will look after me. He will take care of me. He is always there to guide me.

Sometimes, you are so focused on what is happening to yourself that you forget that you have a God looking out for you. You think too much on what you should do that you fail to notice God's wonderful plan for your life.

A long walk or just a simple observation can help you think that you are not alone. We have a Father willing to help us. All you have to do is stop and listen.
